Ljubljana, July 21 (QNA) - HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and HH Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al-Missned visited Wednesday morning the University Rehabilitation Institute in the course of their current visit to Slovenia.
Their Highnesses were welcomed upon arrival at the Institute by President of Slovenia Dr. Danilo Turk and the first lady of Slovenia Mrs. Barbara Miklic Turk.
HH the Emir and HH Sheikha Mozah received a detailed explanation about the University Rehabilitation Institute and its goals.
They toured the different departments and centers in the Institute such as the neurology, head injuries and the IRIS smart home which is a demonstration apartment and clinical research facility that offers conditions to achieve the highest level of functional independence and independent residing for the elderly and persons with disabilities.
At the end of the tour, Their Highnesses visited a treatment center for Gaza children who are suffering from injuries sustained in the war. (QNA)¬
